How to Find Home Interior Products at the Wholesale Level Without Having to Actually Sell Them
Have you been looking to buy some Home Interiors products cheap but don’t want to sell them yourself? Are you looking for that low wholesale pricing? Well I’m writing this article today to tell you how that is possible.
First you will need to become a consultant, no there are no high start up fees or any hidden costs and no you won’t have to sell anything. But by becoming a consultant you make yourself eligible to purchase the products at the wholesale level. Once you have become a consultant you have to purchase a first order, usually this is less than $200. Your first order is usually discounted even further from the wholesale order so you will get even bigger discounts. Unfortunately these are usually a one time deal to get you started. After purchasing your first order this holds your consultant status for 3 months which means you have at least 3 months of buying the product at the wholesale level. After the three months is up however you need to make sure you are purchasing $150 worth of product every 3 months to keep you contract and consultant status, if you’re like me this is not hard at all. Broken down that is $50 a month. If you find yourself a little short on orders ask some family or friends if they want to purchase anything at your discount.
To become a consultant you will need to get in touch with a current consultant to have them sign you up. You will need your date of birth, social security number (yes they give you a 1099 form at the end of the year), and mailing information. You can find a consultant by going to their webpage or listed at the end of this article is my webpage to sign up if you like (I get back with you within 12 hours unless on a weekend). Beware however some consultants will not sign you up under them if they know you are purchasing for your personal self and not planning on actively selling the product. I sign anyone up because I am given a 2% commission on the sales but all that really amounts to is $1 a month if you are only purchasing the $150 every three months. I don’t deny anyone for any reason. After you’ve become a consultant you can go right online and place your order if you need help with this the person that signed you up can help walk you through it which you may want to do anyway to get some really good deals. A lot of times there are discontinued products you can buy at even lower rates or upcoming sales that you will want to get in on if you don’t know about them but your consultant who signed you up would know all of these things and I’m sure is more then willing to help you out.
Home Painting – Paint Woodwork
The five biggest mistakes people make when home painting woodwork!!
Painting woodwork is probably the most fiddly and time consuming part of home painting. There is a lot to consider and a lot of preparation involved with your diy home painting. What I mean by woodwork are things like doors, frames, skirtings and the like. Now to the five biggest common mistakes when home painting your woodwork.
The first thing people think of is that the existing coat of paint unless your painting over varnishes or polyurethanes has to be taken back to bare wood or timber. This is not always the case. Do this only if it has badly broken down. If you’re just changing colour and generally painting, a good solid rub down with sandpaper will do the trick.
Not undercoating with the correct product. An undercoat is designed to bind and seal the surface back to give you a neutral plane to work with,an undercoat can be called a platform builder.
Not using good quality paints and materials and I’m talking about finish coats now. Whether it be gloss enamel, satin or semi gloss good quality is always the best option. Buying the you bute special bonza paints that has probably been mixed in a high school science lab is NOT COOL MAN. Good quality enamels and let’s not forget water based and environmentally produced paints and glosses are your best bet. Remember this! {quality products produce quality workmanship.}
The most crucial common mistake when home painting your woodwork is a bad quality BRUSH. The bottom line is, if your willing to use a broken stick as your finishing brush, expect your finish product to look like #!@$ also. A brush with a beautiful soft bristle and these days they make good quality synthetic ones that can handle the miles quite well, this is your best option, and these are the only types of brushes I use these days whether it be for oil or water based paints. For the beginner I suggest a 63 mm sashcutter. This type and size brush will cover all your bases.
So last but not least the number 5 mistake that people make when home painting woodwork is not forgetting steps 1 to 4. You have to have a system when doing woodwork then you can’t go wrong. Prepare, undercoat and do your finish work, but introduce a system for yourself and keep repeating it. This way you’re guaranteed not to forget things and make mistakes.
Remember home painting is all about repetition and doing the same job over and over again, you do this and you’ll rip through your work with ease. Trust these diy painting tips helped you with your house painting. Catch guys and remember………..

Hardwood Flooring
Hardwood floors can be the difference of how the entire interior of your home is presented. Most people use different types of wood flooring because of the colors available, the way it lasts, and because it looks much nicer than a carpet floor. It is also much harder to stain a wood floor compared to staining carpet, which as most people know, happens all too often. The last major factor of this type of floor covering is the price variance for different types of woods varies so much that it can fit into any budget, no matter how small.
If your home currently does not already have hardwood flooring in it, and you are thinking about having it installed, the process itself is a breeze. The first thing that is done is you will have someone come out to your home and give you a cost estimate. What dictates the cost is square footage and what type wood you plan on using. Once that is established, the installation company will come in, remove your current floor coverings, and install the new hardwood floors. This does not take very long, depending how much footage is needed, and does not create a large mess inside your home.
If you are one of the many homes that already have hardwood flooring, and the wood itself is beginning to lose its luster, you can have your floors refinished. One reason why most people do not like to go through this process is because it can create an unreal amount of dust during the sanding stage. Professional companies out there use special vacuum sanders so that they do not cause a dust storm inside someone’s finished home that is full of furniture. Once the wood is sanded, the company will re-stain the wood to your specification. That is the basics of refinishing floors in a nutshell.
A more budget friendly available option is the newly formed hardwood floors that come prefinished, and sometimes they are prefabricated. Prefinished floors mean that the wood will come already stained so that the company does have to finish the floors and create a mess on site. Prefabricated flooring is partially wood and partially fake. They have the same reliability as some different types of woods that are commonly used, yet do not cost nearly as much. This option gives someone the chance to change the entire interior of their home no matter the budget.
